I sure hope he didn't desecrate that cake because given the state of his shirt, I can't believe anyone was in much of a mood to eat it.

Must have been having a hot flash. Or maybe he needs his meds adjusted.
But take a look at the young soldiers in the background. They'll all be writing home about the big day with the prez--they're cannon fodder, don't they know that?
Cheap shot. Is that a plastic cake?
That top photo is about the gayest coming-out photo I've ever seen, and I have worked as stage manager in San Francisco. As for the soldiers, they put up with assholes of rank every day, so it's nothing new -- but when the C-in-C shows up, they get relieved of latrine, kitchen, etc duty, the Army version of papering the house to make it look like they actually like him. And since they get part of a day off, hey, what's not to smile about.
